Radio Frequency: Body Contouring
This treatment uses the Bliss Max 4D body platform to deliver radiofrequency into the deeper layers of body skin, where the collagen that governs firmness sits.
It addresses a different problem from laser lipolysis. Lipolysis targets fat; this targets the quality and tone of the skin covering it. Clients often want both, and the two are commonly staged together in one plan.
As with all radiofrequency work, the heating is the trigger rather than the result. What follows over the subsequent weeks is your own collagen response, so sessions are spaced and progress is judged across the course.
How the treatment works
Your practitioner assesses whether what you want changed is skin tone, fat volume, or a mix, and builds the plan accordingly.
The handpiece is worked over the area, bringing the tissue to a therapeutic temperature and holding it there. Most clients describe a deep, comfortable warmth and a massage-like sensation.
Sessions are spaced to let the collagen response take place; stacking them does not speed up the outcome.

No. It is aimed at skin firmness and contour. If fat reduction is your goal, laser lipolysis is the treatment to ask about, and the two are often planned together.
It is designed for mild to moderate laxity. Where there is substantial loose skin, particularly after major weight loss, radiofrequency will not achieve what surgery does, and your practitioner will say so rather than selling a course.
It is delivered as a course because the effect is cumulative. The number depends on the area and your skin, and is set after assessment.
Certain implanted devices, pregnancy and some medical conditions are contraindications for radiofrequency. A full history is taken at the consultation for that reason.
