Stretch marks are scars in the dermis, formed where skin was stretched faster than it could adapt. That is why creams rarely change them: the damage sits below the layer a topical product reaches.
We treat them with Viva MD NanoFractional radiofrequency. Fine pins deliver energy below the surface in a fractional pattern, which is intended to prompt remodelling in the scarred tissue so the marks read as less indented and closer in texture to the skin around them.
The honest framing is reduction, not removal. Older white marks and newer red ones behave differently, and your practitioner will tell you which you have and what is realistic before you commit to a course.
How the treatment works
Your practitioner assesses the marks (how old they are, their colour, how indented they feel) and sets the depth and density accordingly.
The pin array is passed across the marked area, creating micro-zones of treated tissue with untouched skin in between. That untouched tissue is what supports repair and keeps recovery proportionate.
Because this is remodelling rather than removal, it is planned as a course with weeks between sessions, and judged across the whole series rather than after one.

No, and any clinic promising that is overselling. The realistic goal is marks that look less indented and blend better with the surrounding skin. How much change is achievable depends on their age and depth, which your practitioner assesses in person.
